Senator Borah who -“has been per sistently questioning aspirants for the Republican Presidential nomination and has forwarded the prohibition questionnaire to Mr. Lowdcn has now In turn himself been questioned by a citizen of Ohio. The latter demands to know whether the Senator favours ‘ ‘ super government " by dry groups. Senator Borah replied that he was opposed to “ super-government" by tho Anti Saloon Loague, tho Methodists’ Board of Temperance and Morals tho Ku Klux Klun or by any Ohurdh Or any individual who is “ a stalking horse ” for any group which intends to create a super-Government. Tho persistency of Senator Borah is hardly likely to drive the prohibition issue out into the open politically, but Ms efforts are considered interesting.
