(.From Our Own Correspondent,) Mr. W. Clayton is away on holidays. The Methodist Sunday School picnic was held last Wednesday on Mr. W. Carter’s property at Marinoto, A very enjoyable day was spent in games and sports, about one hundred people being present. A wedding of interest to Shannon people was celebrated at Bulls on Wednesday last, when Mr Cyril Jennings was married to Miss Stewart, eldest daughter of the Rev Stewart. Both parties had been residents in Shannon for some considerable time.
