ATOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Kairanga County Council to borrow the sum of One Thousand nine hundred pounds (£1900) under the provision of ' the “Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” for a period of twenty (20) years at a rate of interest not to csceol six pounds (£6) per centum per annum and to provide for the re-payment thereof by establishing a Sinking Fund of not less than Two pounds (£2) per centum per annum for the purpose of:— Renewing three bridges in the Mangaono Biding namely, Derby Creek Bridge situated on the Kaianga Bunnythorpe Road, Bullocky Creek Bridge situated on Napier Road and Mangaone Bridge situated Robert’s Lino And for the payment of interest on such sum and the repayment of principal ,the Kairanga County Council proposes to make a special rate of Nineteen four hundred and fiftieths (19/450ths) of a penny in the £ over all rateable property in the whole of the Mangaono Riding. Such rate to bo an annually recurring rate for twenty (20) years or until tho loan is fully paid off. • Tho cost of raising the said loan and the interest and Sinking Fund for the first year is not to bo paid out of the loan. . y AND a .Poll will be taken on Thursday, tho 22nd day of March, 1928, between tho hours of 9 a.in. and- 6 p.m. for the purpose of obtaining the ratepayers’ consent to such loan. / .
