Messrs. M. A. Eliott have received cabled advice of the following Smithfield prices for the week ending February 24th. These prices arc on the “delivered” basis, that is, including storage charges, cartage, etc.:— Best North Island Down Lambs, under 361 b , 9 7-8 d; 36/421b, 9 7-8 d; 42/50lb. 9 7-Bd. Ordinary North Island lambs: Under 421 b. 9 3-Sd: second quality, under 421 b. 9Jd. Best North Island wethers and maiden ewes: 4S/561b. and 56/6415. Old', Gl/721 b. and over, 5 S-Bd. Ordinary North Island wethers and maiden e\ ts: 4S/561h. t and 56/641b. Gid; 64/721b. and over sid. Remarks: Prime lamb no change; second lamb, id higher; wethers, no change; ewes not quoted: beef, not quoted.
