The Waratahs scored a hard-fought victory over the Vancouver representatives by 9 points to 6. before two hundred spectators. Mann and E. Ford scored tries in the first spell and Meagher one in the second spell, while for the home side Davidson and Pinkham scored in the second spell, none being converted. Ford was hurt in the first spell and retired. The contest was a struggling, gruelling one throughout, the Australians showing to advantage with short snappy passing and pretty kicking.
