WORLD’S CHAMPION AYRSHIRE.

CANADIAN COW ESTABLISHES A RECORD. Canadian Ayrshires are unique in that they hold all the principal world’s production records for the breed. The latest record-breaker is Eosebank Pride, owned by Geo. Pearson and Sons, of Waterdam, Ontario. This cow has just completed what 1 is a Canadian record for milk production, having given 23,6411bs milk, 9781bs fat, average test 4.14 per cent., in 365 days. This record (reports the "Canadian Ayrshire Review”) also puts her in the world’s champion class for long distance records. During the five year* she has been milking, she has given a total of 87,8431 b milk, 3,6331 b fat. This last record, therefore, makes her the Canadian and World’s long distance Champion for five consecutive lactations, which includes three immature records. It may also be mentioned that Eosebank Pride competed in the dairy test at the 1925. Guelph ■ Winter Fair, and produced 235.71b'mi1k in 72 hours. This put her at the head of her class, and as well , entitled her to second place in general standing over all breeds. She also headed her class in the conformation competition at the same show. At Ottawa Winter Fair she produced a'nd headed her class fgr production as well as conformation. Avdhsyde White Rose, a daughter was also on test at the 1925 Guelph Winter Fair, and won first in the three-year-old class with 171.81 b milk. She gave 183.5 at the Ottawa Winter Fair, and stood second in her class. In addition to .White Eose has a three-year-old record of 15,2931 b milk, 6501 b fat, which makes her the second highest milk-producing three-year-old and the third higl "t for butterfat production. She also v n tho Silver Cup in the three-year-old class in 1926, being leader of that class in 365 May division. Eosebank Pride is described by a Canadian livestock expert as "a wonderfully perfect type of a dairy cow, and posseses a mammary development seldom equalled. ' The recordse made by Eosebank Pride are as follows:
