SAXOPHONE IN CHURCH
SERVICE AT BLACKPOOL. DANCE BAND ACCOMPANIMENT. LONDON, February 17. Being concerned at tlic indifference regarding church-going, the Rev. F. Freshwater introduced Sir Dan Godfrey’s dance band, including a saxophone, at St. Stephen’s Church service in Blackpool. The band accompanied the Gloria, the Creed, and the hymns. The church was crowded, and the congregation was delighted.
