FOUGHT IN STREET, FINED IN COURT
SETTLING AN ARGUMENT (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. Two jockeys named Albert Henry Daley (aged 28) and William Baden Powell Ayres (aged 27) both admitted having fought in Albert street. When they appeared in the Police Court today Senior-Sergeant Cummings said an oldstanding grievance concerning horse racing led to an argument and later to fistic discussion. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., ordered each to pay a fine of £l.
