FEILDING HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
COMMITTEE MEETING, The ’ committee of the Feilding Horticultural Society met on Wednesday evening Mr. A. Williamson (President) presiding. The balance-sheet for the Spring Show was reviewed, members expressing pleasure at the satisfactory financial result. ■ ■ It was resolved to give all the support possible to the Wanganui Horticultural Society’s Jubilee Show. j Mr. P. L. A. Gotz gave notice of intention to move at the next general meeting the following resolution: “ That members’ exhibits be accepted without the paymeat of entry fees.” Arrangements are to be made for acquisition of additional display facilities and the trustees of the Pending Drill Hall are to be interviewed regarding the storage of the Society’s property. > , In view of the dry season it was resolved to hold the Autumn Show later to enable a representative exhibition. Votes of thanks wore accorded Mrs. J. Gordon Eliott and Misses Eliott and the Eangitikei Club orchestra for the excellent musical programmes rendered at the Spring Show.
