' Tbe above school was examined October 21st, 1884. Below Standard I, 9 examined, work satisfactory.- ■■■_.-. The Inspector remarks m his report that the geography cf Standa-ds II- and 111 was excellent and' answered most intelligently. In Standard V. the parsing was good and composition lair. The work on all papers was Deatly arranged. . Standard VI. — Work m general good and nicely arranged. In this Standard John Matheson's work is commended for its excellence, his marks throughout being very uni~ form, gaining m no subject less than 80 per cent of the maximum o&- --! tamable and securing m the whole the highly creditable average of 90 per cent. The report concludes :— " Alto* gether the school is m a very satisfactory state, the neatness and arrangement of the papers were above the average and much to be com> mended..
