Frozen Meat Trade.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's repoat (dated Jth October) of tbe produce markets of New Zealand, speaks very hopefully of the" frozen meat market. It says: — "Out faith m 'he future of this great industry has never been shaken for a. moment, despite the discouragements m the Bbape of low prices and damaged cargoes which have beset the trade dur" ing the past few months. It i«, there* fore, with much satisfaction that we report the receipt of private telegraphic advices from London of an improvement m prices tqual to Id v er 1b on the month. When it is added that* as a rule, September, October, and Noveras ber are the worst months of the whole year for the disposal of frozen meat, the encouraging nature of the recent advance is much enhanced." Since tbe issue of this report a further rise has been cabled from London ; and there io a general impression gaining ground that ihe crisis iD the trade has turned the right way.
