IVTOTICE is hereby given that it ±i is proposed; under the provisions of " The Public Works Act, 1576," to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road lying between points situate on the south and north banks of the Manawatu River, m the Provincial Districts of Wellington andliawke's Bny, and for the purposes of such public -work the lands described m the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is further given that a plan of the said road and of the lands so required to be taken is deposited m the Post Office at WoodviHe,. and m the Public Works Office, at Wellington, and ia there open for inspection : And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said lands, shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same m" writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington.
