ter Highway Boards engineer, according to which, the. repair and widening of bridges.and culvertb will amount. to £190, leaving only £110 for formation, unless the Manawatu Highways Board does iis, duty as hinted above. The question to be decided at the next meeting/will be — How and where to spend it. I hope the settler* ' will attend, as really our first want is good roads; when we have got tbtise, w can start co-operating m dairy farms, &c, &c. — 1 am&c, A Road, a Road, my Ktkdom Tor a ItOAD.
