Resolved— '• That this Council vote to the Andersen family the sum of £2 charitable aid. ABOLITION OP TOLLS. Resolved— "That the toll-gate at the bridge over the Rangitikei River, between Bulls arid Sandon, be abolished at the expiration of the present lease." THE K.»RERB ROAD. Resolved— "That the road from Jackeytown to Palmerston be metalled, and that a committee be appointed to accept teuderi »t any time during the s&ottth."
SEDUCTION OF WAGES. Resolved— " That the wages of roadmen be six shillings per day; and for one horse and cart, twelve shillings ;*;two* horses and cart, fifteen shillings.
