DESTRICTION OF THE SWAN POINT LIGHT.
WELLINGTON, Last- Night. Captain Sinclair, of th.9 steamer Arawata, which arrived at the Bluff yesterday) reports to the Marine i Board that while on ~ his voyage through the west channel of Port ■ Philip, the sailing ship Omeo, coal ! laden from Nevrcstle, ran into and \ completely ■ destroyed the White ) Point Pile Light. The wreckage passed the Arawata, and was floating up the channel.
