Me. Moorhouse succumbed to the disease from whidh he was suffering, d iabetes, thjs morning at nitie o'cl ock. His death was expected as for some days as fcisi'eboterj wiwdeethodhopeless. His remains, were conveyed on board the Government steamer the Stella" at threeo'«lock this afternoon. The members of the House of. Representatives "wer© present, and the vessel started for Canterbury shortly aftervvavds.' C The funeral will take place at Reccarton, the train with, the body leaving Christchurch" at; half-past two. %
