IM THI IDIXOB, S^H-J^iheA-Advoeate of the 25th, Sir William Fox writes to contradict "certain misstatements" on the subject of the Marton Borough Endowment-contained, he alleged, "n the Feilding ChtariMau of the 22nd ipstant. As it might be supposed that I fras th* editor, who, at Sir William Foi •ays, ''has blundered," will you allow m* to say that I was aot the occupant of the editorial chair when the article of the 22nd instant appeared. Sir William Fox's denuncietion, therefore, falls hamnlesslr, so far. as I personally cqneernad.
