CußisTonußCH, Friday. The dulness Which has for some time past characl erised this market is still yery noticeable ; the amount of business actually transacted being of the. mos.t meagre description. Wheat still finds ready buyer? nf 3s 6d for nil really choice parcels offering, but medium to ordinary is not saleable, at over 3» 4d and 3s Id respectively. Feeding descriptions are most abundant and difficult to sell at over 2s 3d. Millers have given out reduced rates for flour, town brands being' quoted at £10 and country at £9 10s. The oat market is very lifeless, and merchants are getting so heavily" stocked tha,t they .are being forced to pause m buying, owing to their, - warehouses being blocked. The finest- descriptions are not saleable at over Is 3d to Is 4d, whilst feeding sorts are being offered 'nt Is to Is 2d. Kwt-olass samples of malting barley are saleable at 3s 3d, but the quantity offering of this quality is very small. Other, descriptions range * from Is 6d to "2s l 6d. Potatoes are being offered at 25s to 27s 6d, without finding - any anxious buyers. The. want of> private, storage for this esculent appears to prevent any considerable business being carried through. Butter is m fair demand ,at lOd, whilst, cheese is neglected a,t 4d.— Precs, sth. June.-
