• At a late hour last evening we accepted an invitation to inspect the working of-that wonderful piece -of mechanism, Edison's Phonpgragh, and certain.ly the. instrument fully equals and deserves all that has been said and written of it. When people "are told that words sppken, songs sung, and music played one year ca^ ha reproduced the next or ten years afterwards, they would he inclined to be incredulous., b,ut to be convinced that such a feat can be. accomplished a visit ; to Foresters* Hall is all that is necessary. In our next we wiVl give a description of what has been creating suuh a sensation m the Old World, meanwhile each one should go and see foe hjrp.self.
