The movement was started^ by some members of the Opposition,' who.'were not pleased with leader m leaving only six men m the House when frhe division on - Mr. Macandrew*s " No Oonfidence Motion '* took place a few nights., ago. The parky-,, 'consists of members who havA nerer held? office,, and who do .not intend to «««k ilk They do not expect to be able to do much, during the, present Session, The member*, were Messrs. George, Harolin, Harris, Macdonald, Speight, Tole, Levin, J.- B. Fisher, Reeves, Allwrigbt, Andrews, Turn* bull, Reid, Seddon, J. (\ Brown, Finn,- . Hislop, Ireland, Shanks, and. Shrimaki. Th». party was first formed m jest, but has taken^ this definite form, the main purpose lieinjj, the conservation of the Liberal partj/aid. %* enable them to have a rallying c«ui>n> »u<k ' cry during the receag.. •
