Qf course m courtesy we are bound to believe our worthy member's assurance ;■; neVerfcheV lets, there are some suspicious-minded persons who have been heard to Hint that Hiy , Johnston's joy was of a negative, nature, and could he have surmised the reply, the question would never have been 7 asked. j_e says "he was exceedingly glad ;" now da you really think; h<j;was,?. .
