BUNNYTHORPE SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A meeting- oi the Bunnythorpe School Committee was held m the residence of Mr. W. S. Bailey, Taonui, on Tuesday evening. Present— Messrs. W. S. Bailey(chairman"), Ranger, Curtis, aud W. Bailey. The minutes of. the previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE. The Chairman read the following correspondence : — * . Letter from 3\_r. A. Brown, secretary tc the Board of Education, re desks and books. Letter from Mr. A. Brown enclosing the testimonials of Mr. J. Dinsdale ; also bis application for the position of master for the new State school at Otaki. Letter from Mr. E. T. Merritt, of Palmerston, applying for the recommendation of the Committee to the Inspectorof Schools re appointment of master. SCHOOLMASTER'S RESIDENCE. Ifc was resolved, on the motion of Mr. TRanger, seconded by Mr. Curtis; — " That tlie Chairman write to tha Education Board, requesting the Board to erect a schoolmaster's residence, as it will be very inconvenient for the schoolmaster to reside m FeUding/and that .for the present a small house would suffice.** RECOMMENDATION.
