The block comprises 147,000 acres, and when it shall have passed the Native Lands Court, it be thrown' upon the market by the Government; This canriot fail tit> exercise an important arid beneficial influence on this' district. The Otejna^apua 'lies north of, and. adjacent, to, the : £4witea Block, which it resembles m many respects. • We iriisfc that a portion pt'it will be set .aside for' sale on the deferred' payment system, which has worked so, well m the Kiwijjea.
