SURVEY OF THE WEST COAST LINE.

At a late hour last evening we received the following : information from a "som/ce upon which implicit reliance can be placed. A surveyor has been sent from Wellington, who will be started immediately on the survey of the railway line from Palmerston via Fitzherbert, towards Horowhenua. It is also proposed that the surveyor now on the Foxton line should start back from the point of junction towards Palmerston, so as to meet the firstnamed 'surveyor with the survey of the trial railway line.
