A letter was received from Mr. Behrands, regarding an outlet to the culvert m Queen street. — Resolved that the Engineer be instructed to construct an open drain from Queen street to the Makino stream, running through sections 44 and 46, .township of FeUdiDg, as, under subsection 0, clauae* 57 of the Public Works Act, 18fr6. -. jßesolved— That with respect to the letters . received from Messrs. Shaumon and others, of Wellington, and Saunder3on, of Halcombe, — That until the new rate is collected, the Board is not m a- position to under? take any further works. Resolved — That the Board pay Mr, Hector Booth Bs. per week for the use of the office to hold their meetings. Resolved— That the Engineer be instructed to employ roadmen at 7s. per day. Engineer's report received, and held over until the Board was m fund?., when the bush should be cleared on the road to Swainssoq's siding. ACCOUNTS PASSED.
