The house contain! m all twentysix (26) rooms and laundry, a good bricked cellar ; six-stalled stable with hay-lbft, store-room, poultry-yard, pigstyes; and good garden with three quarters of an acre of land m the best position m Halcombe. The above Hotel is the only one m the town, and. is doing a large and profitable trade. The house— not yet three years old — is substantially built of .heart of totara and roofed with iron. The furniture is nearly new and of splendid quality, and no expense has been spared m making it one of the best equipped hotels on this coast. The auctioneer can with confidence recommend thia as a good investment, it being m the centre of a rich timber country, daily increasing m importance and wealth.
