Feilding, November 16. Mr J. Maybmor reports at his sale to-day an improved farm vr&a passed m at £6 15a, the best offer was £6 10s. Town sections, Bub-divisions of town acres, brought from £25 to £55 — one fifth and quarter acres } town acres, £120 ditto, with houses, £180. A town section m Halcombe, improved, brought £45. Kiwitea land did not sell. The bidding was not so brisk as was expected. Most of the lots were quitted at the above prices, and several lots passed m were afterwards sold at the reserve, m some instances a higher price was demanded and realized. Wellington, November 14. Mr Gkoeok Thomas reports as follows : —Adelaide flour, £17 ; Colonial flour, £11 to £11 10s ; oats, 4s 8d ; bran, la 6d ; wheat, 4s 4d ; hams and bacon, B£d all round ; cheese, 7£d ; maize, 5s ; pollard, £7; potatoes, £i; good demand for butter at 9d to lOd. The reduction of duty on Australian win* does not tate place until the Ist of January next, and fan even then onlj be claimed on the exporter from Australia signing a certificate before the Collector of Customs there that the wine ia bonafide Australian produce, which certificate must be produced at the Custom House here by the person who pays the duty. Mabton, November 16. Messrs. Beckett & Hammond report produce prices aa under :— Oats, 4s 9d to 59 3d ; wheat, 4s 3d to 4s 6d ; barley, 4s 6d to 5s ; maize, 5s ; beans, 7s ; peas, 6s ; Sour, £11 10s ; chaff, £5, Rood demand , potatoes, £3 10s. Wheat is m better demand, prices beginning to look up. Potatoes dull of sale.
