HIGH-FALUTING.

TO THE EDITOR. Bib,— ln your last I notice a fellow who signs himself " Screw-tater " refers to our two future representatives as arcades ambo. Not being a classic, I am at a loss to discover what he is driving at. Would you therefore kindly explain. — I am, Ac., Ignobamus. [The literal translation of the words is, " brothers both." Charles Lamb, however, on one occasion translated the | phrase to suit his own purpose, " blackguards both." Of course such a definition could not hold good as used by our correspondent.— Ed. M.T.]
