Is our hotel always as well-conducted as it might be P Is no one evading the law, defraud- j ing the revenue, demoralising the place, j and injuring our licensed house by selling „on the sly ? Are our street? and highways m thfr best of order P Are our postal facilities perfect ?—-ft daily mail everywhere else, only a bi : weekly one to WanganuL I ask these few Questions by' "way of suggestions' totyour "Own," as he seems rather .to have got hold of th& wrong end of the string.
