PALMERSTON CEMETERY.
The following is a statement of the Cemetery Trustees in account with the Secretary and Treasurers, from the 28th of March, 1876, to the 2nd September, 1878:— RECEIPTS. To proceeds (£20 bill discounted), £19 12s 9d ; cash from R.M. Court and advance, £3 9s ; contributions, 10s ; do. Choral Society, £10 ; do. other contributions, £10 15s ; proceeds, bill discounted, £68 16s 10d; Total, £113 3s 7d. To balance, £2 0s 8d ; proceeds, P.N., £72 2s 4d. Total, £74 3s. EXPENDITURE. By bush-falling, £15; do., £2 ; renewal Bank P.N. and bill form, 9s ; advertising, 3s ; renewal of bill, 10s 2d; advance refund, £2 15s 11d ; incidental expenses, £1 2s 11d ; clearing contract, £15 2s 4d ; refund to R.M. Court (Deighton), 4s 6d ; advertising account, £1 5s ; fencing, £6 ; do., £40 19s 6d ; carting fencing stuff, £3 ; sawn timber for fence, £19 5s ; cemetery gates and hanging, 15s ; interest to Bank, £1; carting posts, &c., £1 10s 7d ; balance, £2 0s 8d. Total, £113 3s 7d. To P.N. discounted by Bank, £72 2s 4d.; discount £1 13s 2d ; balance, 7s 6d; Total £74 3s. LIABILITIES. Total liabilities to Bank of Australasia; £73 15s 6d.
