WANOANur, August 16. Mr Q. A. Hurley reports wholesale prices as below : — Oats — Feed, 5b to 63 Id ; seed, S.a 4d to 6s } wheat, seed, 6s to 7s 6d 5 barley, 53 3d to 5s 6d, nominal ; maize, 4s 9d ; beans, and peas, 63 9d and 5s 9d, respectively, small stock ; flour, £13 to £13 103 saofes ; oatmeal, £23 j pollard, £7 5s to £7 10s ; bran, £6 10s; potatoes, £3 to £3 10s, and for seed, £5 to £6 j hay, £1 10s to £5 ; chatty £7. Maeton, August 17. Messrs. Beckett and Hammond report wholesale produco prices as under: — Oats, seed, 5s to 5s 6d ; feed, 4»6d to 5s ; wheat, 4s 9d to 5b ; flour, £13 to £li ; barley, 4s 6d to ss ; bran, £5 to £6 10s ; rye grass, 7s 6d per bushel } cocksfoot, 6d per lb ; timothy, Is per lb. Oats m good demand, and very firm at quotations. Gtrasa seeds aro now being enquired for. Messrs. Harris Bros, report a good sale of general merchandise to-day, with fair attendance" and good prices. A quantity of tea, clothing, drapery, corrugated iron, etc., were passed under the hammer. ■Wellington, August 15. Mr. (J. Thomas reports — Adelaide flour, £17, no stock ; oats, 4s 9d to ss, scarce ; bran, Is 9d, much wanted ; wheat, 4s 3d, good demand ; hams, B£d ; bacon, 7id ; cheese, 7Jd, overstocked ; pollard, £7 10s, none m fcho market, and wanted j maize, 5s 2d, stooked ; butter, Is ; prime samples potatoes, £L 10a, good demand. Attciland, August 16. Buckland reports — Fafc cattle, 27s to 35s per lOOlbs ; fat sheeD, areraging 3Jd. Binney reports — Wo improroment m business.
