Sir George Grey said the Government had had no tidings of -the Hawea. yet. • Ten days' Wye of absence was granted to Mr Pyke. The Hon. Mr Ballance tabled a Heturn, showing the salary drawn by each Minister since taking office, together with other allowances. The Government do not intend to introduce tbis Session a Bill dealing with public domains and gardens throughout the colony. The second reading of the Imprest Supply Bill is fixed for Tuesday. Mr Fisher announced that the Taranaki with the San Fraucisco mails could not get over the bar at Onehunga, and had put back. The Government have promised to furnish a Return, showing the cost of running the Hinempa between last December and June, with names of persons, other than Government staff and Ministers, who travelled during that period, at the expense of the colony. The lletura, however, will include the cost, etc., of all Government steamers since 1870. " . The House adjourned till Tuesday. *
