Wellington, July 29. At auction to-day, 500 shai-es m the Standai'd Insurance Company were sold at from 20s to 20s 6d per share ; 150 National Insurance, 25a 6d; 66 South British, £3 8s 6d. [By Electric Telegbaph.] August 2. George Thomas reports produce price 3as follows :— flour, Adelaide, £17 to £17 10s ; Colonial, £11 15s to £12; oats, 4s 9d ; wheat, 4s 3d j bran, Is 6d, not a sack to be had, hams, and bacon, 8d ; cheese, 7£d ; pollard, £7 ; maize, 5s 3d to 5s 0d ; butter, lid ; potatoes, £4 15s lo £5. Bulls, July 30. Messrs Stevens & Gorton report as follows : — Our. sale to-day was well attended, bidding being brisk. We give a few quotations. Fat wethers brought 14s ; yearlings and eighteen months' old cattle from £3 12s 6d to £4 15s j two and three year old steers, £5 17s 6d. London, July 29. Money hardening. Bank reserve improving. Consols, 95f. The Adelnide loan of £688,000 at a minium of 93. Corn market unchanged.
