Sir;— l have been directed -by the Hon. the Commissioner of Customs to a 'knowledge the receipt of your letter O v l^th inst., m whith, for reason s g yen therein, you apply on behalf of the inhabitants of Foxton, for that place to be declared a port of entry and a warehousing port.
