The site occupied by the Supreme Police, and Resident Magistrate's Courts, Lambton Quay, were pat up for sale by auction to-day, on behalf of the Government. The attendance was large, and the bidding; spirited. The frontage consisted of 107 feet, and the bidding started at £100 per foot, and ran rapidly up to £150 without there being any cessation. The property was finally knocked down to Dr. Bulier at £153 per foot, the amount realised being £16,371.
