TO THS BDITOB. Sib, —Allow me, through, your paper as a medium, to thank publicly Mr Arthur Edge, both on my own behalf and that of the other residents. This gentleman, at his own private personal expense, has had a man from Feilding engaged making culverts,'&c., on the Kiwitea BoM, so as m a measure to alleviate the great drawback of his neighbors. I think they are very'few and far between that would have done as this gentleman has, and it most certainly shames whosoever's jurisdiction this road ialls under, and which is, I believe, that of the Manawatu Highway Board.—l am, &c., .
