The Jane Douglas left Wellington at midnight on Monday last ; anchored m Queen Charlotte Sound Tuesday morning; left for" Foxton again same day at 10 p.m. ;, had to run back to Kapiti ; anchored there at 6 a.m. Wednesday ; left Kapiti on Wednesday evening ; returned to anchorage owing to heavy weather ; left again at 2 a.m. Friday, and arrived at Foxton same morning at 8 a.m. The Tui left Wellington at 11 a.m. San- , day last, arrived at Kapiti at 4 p.m. same ' day ; anchored and remained until 4 p.m. j on Friday, arriving at Foxton at 8 a.m. Exi perienced a strong north gale with heavy sea. In company with s.s. Stormbird part of the time, also schooner Dunedin, and two others, names unknown.
