NOTICE is hereby given that it is - the intentidn of the Manawatu Highways Board to make a RATE of One Shilling m the £ sterling on the annual value of all rateable property m the Manawatu Highways District for, the period from the Ist April, 1878, to 31st March, 1879, the same to become payable on the 6th 'June, 1878, at the Office of the Board, Palmerston, where the Rate Book will be open for inspection on and after jthe 4th May, from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. ~ By order of the Board, *~ - y T.
