I, the undersigned, being appointed Registrar of Dogs. for the Manawatu County, under "The Dog Nuisance Act, 1863," hereby call the attention of the public to Clause 7 in said Aot :-— "Any person owning, maintaining, or having eharge of a dog six months old unregistered, shall be liable to a Penalty of not exceeding Five Pounds for every dog so owned* maintained, or being in his charge." I further notify that all defaulters in payment of the present year's Dog Tax will be summoned forthwith.
