BEGISTKATION. Births.— The birth pf every child mu -t be registered within 62 days, including day of birth ; after that time a child may fio registered upon making a solemn declaration of the particulars and paying a fee of ss. Mjrriages.— Marriages are to be solemnised with open doors, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., m the presence of two or more witnesses. Persons desirous of being married must m the first instance give notice to the Registrar, and pay a fee of 2s 6d ; he will then give them a. certificate (the fee for which is 20s) that they have complied; w,ith the requirements of the Act. If they prefer being married by the Registrar, instead of a clergyman or minister, his fee is 20s, : Deaths.-— The Registrar of the district must be informed of the event within 31 days.
