Monday. A young man named Frederick Catling, waiter at Hausman's Hotel, was charged before the Resident Magistrate this morning for an assault: with intent on a young girl named Anne Selina Franklin, a short disfance from Hausman's Hotel, shortly after eight o'clock last evening.
