Monday. A young man named Frederick Catling, waiter at Hausman's Hotel, was charged before the Resident Magistrate this morning for an assault: with intent on a young girl named Anne Selina Franklin, a short disfance from Hausman's Hotel, shortly after eight o'clock last evening. The girl was rescued hy a young jockey named Danahay, who heard screams raised by a girl named Stanford, who was with Miss Franklin. The evidence is very positive as to the identity of the prisoner, who was remanded for eight days to enable the prisoner to procure evidence. The Wellingtpn Jocky.
