Tuesday. The Stewards of the Wellington Jockey Club paid away the following sums when settling up with winners : — Bolton (owner of Lara), £-127 10s ; K. Bay, £331 ss; D. Eraser, £209 ;.'!>. Campion, £)9 15<s; Hay ward, £95; G-illigan, £31 15s; Heaton, £47 10s'; Redwood, £i 7 10s. All other- sums paid were under £20. It i.s expected that the branch railway to racecourse will ba completed before next races.
