February T* Mr Berry's motion, to pay ; money, on a vote of the Assembly alone, without an Appropriation Act, was carried ; on a division by 52 to 2s. Inferior Civil Service officers may expect re-appointment, hut not the higher officers. No further dismissals are intended. It is rumored that the Council will take up the Payment oE Members.
