♦ Wanganui, December 14. Mr George A. Hurley reports wholesale prices as follows :— There has been a good demand for prime' feed oats (Jnrhig the week, and the market now has a very firm tone. I quote for parcels, 4s 6dto v 4s9d; wheat for fowls' feed, and barley, nominal ; rye grass, local, 6s to 6s 6d ; cocksfoot, 6Jd to 7fd; chaff, £7 10s for best; hay, £5 10s to £6 ; potatoes, £2 10s to £3 10s ; flour, m sacks, £17 10s to £18 j. pollard, £7 10s ; oatmeal, £21 10s ; bran, 6s. . Thomas reports wholesale produce prices as follows : — Flour, £15 10s to £15 15d 'for guaranteed brands; £14 10s, no guarantee ; Adelaide, £17 10s to £18 ; oats, 3s lid to 4s Id ; bran Is ; wheat, 4s 3d ; hams, 9£d ; bacon, 8d ; cheese, 9d ; potatoes, 30s to 40s, old ; new, 8s per cwt ; pollard, £6 10s ; maize, 4s 9d to ss; butter," fresh, 6d. Attokland, December 14. Buckland reports : — Eat cattle, 21s to 23s per lOOlbs ; fat sheep, 12s to 12s 6d ; ewes, 2d to 2|d per lb; fat lambs, 11s to 14s, according to quality. Oamabxj, December 14. Grain and breadstuffs market quiet. Quotations — Wheat, somewhat lower than last week, and may now be quoted at 4s to ss ; oats, milling, 3s. Prices for breadstuffs, f.o.b.— Flour, £15 to £15 lOs.^fair demand 5 oatmeal, £17 ; pearl barley, £20 ; pollard, £5 ; bran, £3 10s.
