Tuesday. A girl named Margaret Dornalty was killed by a fracture of the skull, caused by afall through jumping out of a milk cart, the horse having run away. Another girl in the cart; also jumped out, but escaped with, a few bruises. Wednesday. Captain Carey's house at Onehunga was totally "'destroyed By. fire. It burned so rapidly that there was hardly time to get the children ' out. Carey's house and furniture were insured for £450 in the National. His loss is very heavy.
