Mr Barton waited on the Meeting, when it was arranged that he would undertake the' supervision of all the Works under the Board, at the rate of 7; per cent, on the ' gross expenditure i'ioi the year, commencing from date of this meeting. The annual statement of accounts for each Ward, was then examined and ac* cepted. The Secretary was instructed to write to, the District Engineer and get Ms .sanction for the removal of the. Bridge across the AwajPuni outlet to Mr McEwen's" formation. Warden McEwen gave notice, that it was his intention to undertake the following works m his Ward : — Clearing and stumping 30 chains on McEWen'sline;, .
