There are on the Dooks of the School eighty, nine chiHren', aticf of"thafc number there ' were eighty-seven* present at the ex* animation. , In the first standard,' 9 boys and 8 girls parsed 1 second standard, -10* boys and 5 girls ( third standard; 5 boyrand ■2'rirls ; fourth standard/ f'boy pissed. William Gray p«sse& the fourth standard within ten- months of his having passed the third/ Joseph Blower, who is only ten years and sue months old took the highest number of marks, m the third standard, within a yea* from his passing- the second. Too great praise cannot be given to Mr Hutiro^the Schtoolnwfcteiv for the efficient manner m which* he brings • forward 1 the children.Th'e InsiJefctor before feaVing said £hat he had jti ever pa^ed a' school so well up m all' the standards except one, and that was the writing, which would bear a little improvement, but otherwise the schoof was decidedly ahead of any other school m his "district. The Prizr eiven bjr Dr. Eocltstrow for the best scholar was again' taken by William Gray,, who took it last year.
