Some discomfort has been felt and complained of through the late decrease of "facilities of steam transit, to and from - Wellington, which it is to be hoped will be henceforth obviated. A meeting to form a new Cricket Club was held at the -Princess Hotel, Terrace End, Pahrierstdn, Kbrth, on Saturday last, the Ist inst., when the following business was transacted : — Resolved, , that the entrance fee be ss, and the subscription be 2s a month, payable m advance. Resolved, that Mr E. Marsh be Treasurer. Resolved, that M- Hoe be Secretary % Resolved, that Mr Charl ss be Captain.
