Dr Gilbert, who is to undertake the medical charge of the several local friendly societies has arrived m "Wanganui,,and we learn that his several charges are to be handed over to him at once. — "Chronicle." [Since the above was m type we learn from the same source that the appointment" of a medical man -for the Wanganui Friendly Societies is still m abeyance.] In the Supreme Court m Bankruptcy today, Mr Izard made application for a declaration of complete execution of a deed of arrangement m the insolvent estate of John Maysmor,. and there being no opposition the' application was granted.
