, Wednesday. > At the Revision Court this morning, a large number of objections made by a clerk m Mr Sheehan's office to the names of certain Europeans on the list p , of new claims were withdrawn, as also were the objections raised to a large- . number of Maori names. At the Licensing Court yesterday, the application of Horace Ford for a license for a house at -the Spit was refused. All other applications were granted; but several publicans wore warned that if their premises were not put m better order their licenses would be cancelled.
